Driv Kapital completes first close of a new fund

Driv Kapital establishes a new fund to invest in Nordic small-and medium-sized companies with high growth potential. Based on strong interest from Norwegian reputable private investment companies and industry experts, Driv Kapital completes a first close of approximately NOK 850m in 4 months, well above the first close threshold.

Driv will continue to build on its unique approach, based on long-term partnerships with founders/owners, management, and industry experts.

The fund will be structured as a Norwegian limited liability company and classified as an Article 8 (“light-green”) fund.

“Our mission is to scale great companies in a sustainable way through powerful partnerships. Having committed capital through a fund allows us to execute new investments effectively and puts us in a position to build a leading organization”, says Fredrik Bysveen, Co-founder of Driv Kapital

“We are thrilled that so many of those who invested with us in Sumo and 99x/Seeds now continue to support us. We strive to build long-term partnerships on all fronts, and this is another testimonial to that. Although we are now investing through a fund, we will continue to engage leading industry experts and invite them to co-invest meaningful amounts in relevant cases,” says Fredrik Kongsli, Co-founder of Driv Kapital

The first close of Driv Kapital Fund I took place on 28 January 2022.

Driv Kapital was advised by BAHR.
